The O6FA Jr. & Sr. High School League is open to any small School who would like to field a full-contact football team!   Sixman football is a fast paced, high scoring game!  The minimal players needed, allows smaller schools with low enrollments to participate and excel in the sport of football.

Most smaller Schools play soccer due to the relatively inexpensive start-up costs.  But, today, it has becoming increasingly difficult to field a soccer team due to declining student numbers.  With Sixman football, you only need 6 players and there are quite a few current sixman schools fielding successful teams with as few as 10 players!

The O6FA has partnered with various equipment and uniform suppliers to help decrease your start-up costs. You can purchase all of the necessary protective equipment and uniforms at discounted rates with additional, "team" reductions sometimes available!  You are also free to shop around locally for even better pricing!

Athletic Directors and Booster Club members, let's face it, when was the last time you had hundreds of paying admissions for a soccer game?  Include your concession sales and you still probably have games where you don't cover the cost of your officials.  Football solves that problem!  People love football and in most Ohio towns, the "Friday Night Lights" are a big draw.  Imagine your start-up costs being paid for in just one season's worth of admissions and concession sales!

There are smaller Schools out there that actually lose students after elementary and Jr. High school because they don't have a football program.  Having a sixman squad might keep a few students you would normally lose and even encourage others to enroll.

We would like to start this league ASAP, so let us know if the interest is there.  A lot of smaller Schools do not have any current spring sports so we are open to the idea of a "Spring" league instead of a fall league so schools can still keep their soccer teams.
