The
O6FA Adult Recreational League is open to any
Christian adult 21yrs. of age and older who would like to play
full-contact football! Keep in mind it is a recreational
league, not semi-pro and the rules are setup to ensure a fun,
fast paced and usually high scoring game without major injuries!
All individuals are responsible to have their own
insurance and will have to sign waivers exempting the
O6FA, the
team they play for and the field the play on from any
liabilities associated with a football related injury etc.
Since we are a new start-up league, we are in the
process of getting teams together. Your team could be a church
team, a business sponsored team or even a team of buddies.
You only need 6 to field a team but the league is going to
require a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 15 per roster!
If you are interested in getting a team together
there will be a team fee to join the league. Teams will be
responsible for their own equipment, uniforms, practice times
and practice facilities. Most teams will have the
individual player purchase their own protective equipment and then have the
team or a sponsor purchase the actual uniforms. We have
suppliers who have agreed to give the
O6FA and all of the teams
& players involved, discounts on uniforms and equipment.
The league will supply the officials, game field,
concessions, side-line markers, down markers, chain markers etc.
Each team involved will supply 3 volunteers each game they
participate in to man the chains, down & distance markers and be
ball boys.
This is a Christian league and therefore every
game will start with Prayer and the National Anthem and will
also end in Prayer. The home team will supply the opening
Prayer and Anthem and the visiting team will close in Prayer.
Attitudes and language will reflect a Christian
manner from team participants, volunteers and fans alike, any
violators will be asked to leave the area. Players and
Coaches in violation will be ejected from the game and asked to
leave the playing area immediately.
